What’s not to love about Austin, TX on a day like today? 80 degrees, sun – sun – sun! Simply beautiful.
That being said, I.AM.EXHAUSTED. Perhaps it’s more mentally exhausted than physically, because I’m not partying and I’m sleeping well. None-the-less, I’m sitting in my hotel room reviewing the schedule and, frankly, considering going to sit by the pool – or going for a walk with my friend Jean, who drove over from Houston for the weekend.

How ‘naughty’; playing hooky from SxSW. Thanks to Gowalla, Foursquare and Whrrl, I know I’m not the only one skipping out.
I’ll leave you with a gorgeous shot I took last night, walking back from dinner with Jean. Seriously, a state capitol doesn’t get much more regal or beautiful than this.
PS – Decided to attend the “Why Self-Promotion Will Save the World” session with Peter Shankman, of HARO fame. THEN I’ll come back and hang out by the pool.
